What a HUGE success!

With the festival resulting in a HUGE success, CBACT is proud of the hard work of all its participants, and excited about the future of the organization. Well done to everyone!

The site now features information about each of the CBACT member organizations, as well as a history of the organization as a whole. 

I'll be putting up some great pictures soon, and encourage anyone who'd like to see their pictures online to send them to magic@cbact.org!

Let's get the word out, guys! ONE WEEK until the festival. Invite all your friends to become a fan of the CBACT facebook page, and especially to the event itself! Don't forget- if you purchase a full day ticket online, you're automatically entered to win a bouquet of tickets from EACH of the participating theaters! Go to www.cbact.org/festival.html to download printable flyers and promo materials to hand out to your friends / post around town / turn into paper airplanes and throw off the balcony at malls.. however you want to promote the festival, do it! I am so excited to announce the official launch of cbact.org. What a fantastic way for such an important community of children theatre groups to connect with their audience and with each other. More sections of the site will be completed in the coming days, and I encourage all our visitors to check back soon for the updates. 

Available now are posters (in different sizes and b&w options) for anyone to download and print, or distribute through email. I hope you all find them engaging and representative of the spirit of this wonderful event!

Another great tool I hope to utilize to connect and promote CBACT and its festival is social-networking. I have launched a Facebook page and Myspace profile for CBACT and the festival, as those involved are PRIME users for these social networking sites.

I encourage everyone to download a version of the poster. Print a couple copies for yourself,

email a couple copies to some friends.. let's spread the word about this event, and get it the audience it deserves.
